Description
Uhambo is a one-owner custom Fast 42 cruiser/racer capable of a podium finish as well as cruising in comfort. Finished in 2003, this one-owner yacht is turn-key and ready to either cruise or race. Her large cockpit and beautiful & spacious varnished cherry interior sets her apart from other yachts. She is fast and rates well in all conditions with her newer custom carbon fiber mast, carbon sprit, deep keel as well as a custom rudder. This boat is able to sail 20+ knots in the right conditions with complete control. With her improved steering system and deep rudder she can handle high wind conditions occasionally surfing down wind at 22 knots. She motors at 8 knots, has extensive safety equipment, and is Transpac or Pacific Cup ready!

Uhambo (Zulu for Journey) is a turbo modified Simonis Fast 42 built by Fast Yachts in Pine Town, South Africa for one of her current owners. The original build was to ECB/CE category A standards. Major upgrades include:
