Bayliner 3888 has been a fast selling boat during her decade-long production run and it's one of the most popular models of the Bayliners. The Bayliner 3888 was called 3780 MY from 1983-1989. She was built on a low-deadrise modified-V hull and the main key feature of the 3780/3888 was the innovative mid-cabin floor plan with a double berth that extends under the salon sole with a large hanging locker, portholes and a private head. The layout of the shower and the tub that can be easily shared between the mid-cabin and the master cabin. The master cabin forward has a private head as well as plenty of storage and a large opening hatch for fresh air and natural light.
Mai Thai Home is powered by economical twin Hinos 210 hp with low hours. She cruises at 10 knots and her fuel consumption at cruising speed is about 1 mile per gallon which makes her a very fuel-efficient boat. She comes with a Westerbeke generator 8Kw, and full instrumentation; Auto Pilot, Garmin GPSmap 740s - Map/Chart Plotter and new Uniden VHF.

The owner's cabin is forward and has a center-line queen bed. There is a larger opening hatch for fresh air and natural light. There are hanging lockers and plenty of storage along with a private head with sink. There is access to the shower/tub in the day head.
Aft to port is the day head that has access from the hall and from the guest cabin. The guest cabin has a queen bed, which is located under the salon floor sole and directly aft of the head on the port side. The U-shape galley is to starboard with plenty of storage.
The spacious salon is up three steps and has a raised dinette to port that can be converted to a full size bed and a large flat screen TV. The lower helm is to starboard and there is a wet bar with an ice maker to starboard aft of it in the salon.
