The 230 Vantage’s layout has been thoughtfully designed for both comfort and utility. As a dual-console boat with generous forward seating and a spacious cockpit, it offers more room than you’d expect from a 23-footer and endless possibilities for fun!
Starting at the bow, there’s a through-hull anchor chute with windlass. The forward cockpit features cushioned U-shaped seating with a table and drink holders and handrails, plus abundant storage below to accommodate a filler piece that transforms the area into a sun lounge.
There are two insulated, drainable bins and a massive under-console storage compartment with space for fenders and toys. Above all that is a custom-made hardtop with a forward isinglass enclosure to keep you out of the weather if you so choose.
The walkthrough between the dual consoles is slightly offset to starboard and features a hinged windscreen and lower door. Beneath, there’s a large storage space for rods or skis. The port console holds one of the boat’s standout features: a walk-in head compartment, ideal for all-day family outings.
The starboard helm console is well-designed, with easy access to her Raymarine electronics, switches, and controls. There’s also storage beneath the console accessed through the bow walkthrough.
The swiveling helm chair has a flip-up bolster for a leaning post and provides excellent visibility through the windscreen. To port, a convertible lounge seat with ample storage underneath offers multiple seating configurations, from a conventional forward-facing seat to a flat lounger.
Aft, there’s a small day galley with a sink, and a spot to secure the Yeti cooler . The cockpit is spacious, with plenty of room for fishing, and a large in-deck hatch grants access to the lazarette, with neatly arranged pumps, batteries, and through-hulls.
The transom features a recessed fold-out seat that’s both comfortable and unobtrusive for fishing. The walk-through transom door leads to a swim platform with a boarding ladder, all powered by a smooth-running, low hour 300hp Mercury Verado V8.
